The Chrysalis is an outer casing of a caterpillar that signifies a necessary change. To the untrained eye, it may seem as if nothing significant is happening on the surface, but inside, a transformation is taking place, one that will last a lifetime.
The Chrysalis serves as an analogy for how therapy operates. Countless individuals traverse the world with a hard outer shell due to a traumatic past, betrayal, unhealthy relationships, a shattered heart, grief, or life’s many stressors. Nevertheless, inside, they are hurting, feeling unseen, misunderstood, unheard, lonely, and unloved.
As your therapist, my primary objective is to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can harness the power of your hard outer shell, not just to safeguard yourself against life’s disappointments and pain, but to foster healing and transformation, to become the extraordinary person that God intended when he created you. In addition, I wish to help you learn the art of self-love, forgiveness, and the pursuit of your life’s purpose.
I look forward to walking you through your healing journey and wonderful transformation.
